It's not that I don't appreciate it, I'd just rather avoid having a mass of "Thank you for the +fav!" comments on the page. :)

I'm a lifelong Pokémon fan, prone to unusual choices in adored characters, and the most likely person to yell at whippersnappers to get off my lawn. I also draw things.

OMG, I didn't realise you like the original Spyro games! *hugs of fellowship*
Its hard to find people who prefer the trilogy to the various reboots :P
(Also fruit is great, t.a.t.u is great and lucid dreams are also great. Hooray! And lol this reminds me that I need to update my deviantID cos I think I still have the same interests written there that I had when I was 15 o.O)

I have no idea what Dream Eater Merry is, but that is a really intriguing name so I am totally gonna go check it out!

Have you ever watched Paprika? It's an anime OVA sort of thing that people often call "japanese Inception", lol. I found it really fun so maybe other fans of the film would like it too? They have the same basic idea of surreal badass adventures using a dream travel machine, except in this story it's a legal machine designed for psychological therapy and they have to save the world from a guy who stole it, rather than using it to implant ideas in someone's head in a big heist plot. Still ends up in the same place even though the premise begins differently, though!
Oh and it's more of a single person thing rather than a team operation. Protagonist Chiba does indeed have a team of fellow dream travellers but they're more like supporting characters/an excuse for a "who will end up as her love interest?" subplot.
Additional note: a warning ahead of time that the movie gets kinda frightening at points, but then again so did Inception. It's just that Paprika's scaryness is the concept of sexual assault, kinda? there's no actual scenes of such a thing, but there's a character who basically threatens the main character with rape and then does a creepy metaphorical dream thing to show how serious he is. Like.. literally ripping off her skin in super surreal magic form. It scared me a lot so I figure I may as well mention it ^^;

Anyway, sorry for the random message XD
(Oh, and could you link me your original story art blog thing that you mentioned? I can't seem to find the link on your profile, sorry if I'm just missing something in plain sight, lol!)
